On a few occasions, including 5 May 2002, Adam brought in his social security statement to the show, which summarized how much money he earned for every year he filed taxes. His motivation for reading the statement on the air was because he finds his financial history fascinating. It also seems that he likes to read the statements to show how he lived before making it big, and to prove that he is a "literal millionaire". Adam seems to have no qualms about telling the public about how much he makes. The earnings breakdown from the 5 May 2002 broadcast is as follows:
